Utah, May 2011

We had yet another quick trip up to Provo for some family events! Sadly, Brad's aunt and Michelle's baby sister passed away last week from a 22 year battle with Chrons disease. She suffered for more than half her life and it was so sad to see her go so painfully. We were able to have an open house, a grave site viewing and a family only open casket viewing. She spent most of her years alone and was a great support to her family and nieces and nephews. She is now up watching over Brayden and finding us a sibling to be best friends with Brayden.
Emily Giles Brad's cousin also was married this same weekend. She looked beautiful and was so happy to be sealed to her best friend. He reception was so awesome! It was on teh top floor of the Wells Fargo building. It looked out all of Provo with the snow capped mountains and green trees. Really, Provo is so beautiful to visit. Emily's colors were the bright pink, green, orange and yellow. She decorated with gerbers, and huge roses. Everything went so great for her special day!. We are so happy for her and Chris!
We also got to meet up with the old gang from the singles ward at Wingers. It was so fun to see them all and to get caught up. We went and saw Priates 3 afterwards and I thought it was so great!.
On a bummer side note, Brad's A/C compressor went out and will be costing us at least a grand to fix. It went out in Kingman and so we ended up driving in 100 degree weather for almost 4 hours. It was a horrible trip and I swore to Brad that I would not be making this journey any time soon! I would rather fly him up alone then have a car accident and a compressor go out while driving home from UT!

Brayden's Baby Blessing

Brayden was legally bound to us on Monday, Sealed to us on Thursday and we finished the week with my birthday and B's blessing by his daddy. We had a small family get together at our home afterwards with some yummy salads, paninis and a Chocolate fondu bar. The food was great and it was something different! Brad did an amazing job with B's blessing. I am so blessed to have a worthy priesthood holder that was able to bless our son in our ward. Mom got up and bore her testimony.

Families are forever

Blessing May 1st!

We are the Champions!

Brad with his work buddies participated in a fundraiser for kids with Diabetes this past Saturday. Other hospitals and labs in the valley participated in a single elimination tournament with winner taking all. Brad's team took the trophy with the big win after killing all 4 teams in a row. He hit well and caught a bunch a fly balls. The highlight of the day was Brad hitting his home run and bringing 2 other players home. We are both fried after a day in the sun and I was just grateful that Brads family was in town to watch Brayden all day! We had a great time! Way to go Babe. He caught the opening pitch from the Diamondbacks mascot!

Brayden's temple sealing

Gotcha day. April 25th 2011. Sealed April 28th, 2011

Happy Golden Birthday

THis year was my big 28th birthday. Really, I don't like birthdays, they come to fast and my life isn't in the place goal wise that I would have imagined when I made my life's map so many years ago. Ray and the sisters took B and I to Cheesecake factory. Tell me! Have you ever not liked something that you have ordered before from cheesecake? Everything is 4 stars. I got the white cholclate raspberry cheesecake with my name monogrammed on the plate and everything was just sublime! We hit our weekly Kids club and also were sealed to Brayden on my birthday as well. It was a perfect day except for loosing the main legal document that we needed for the sealing and having to go to the temple without it. Good thing we were 40 minutes late and the temple worker looked over that peice of missing info!
