All in one weekend.

I wish the feeling of Christmas would last longer. Why can't December last as long as June in AZ seems to last. The weekends are long and filled with lots of family and fun and not to mention 2 weddings and all that goes along with that. Kelsey just was married yesterday and we had a incredible reception that had great food and fun. The colors were stunning and people I think went away happy. We wish her the best and hope that they make a great life together.

Lights at Temple Square.

THis past Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We had lots to eat, I made some amazing traditional sweet potatoes that everyone hated. haha. Brad is a completely different husband a week before we go to Utah as well as when we are in Utah. He is happy and is proactive with planning fun things. He is more attentive to me and acts like the guy that I meet when I met him in UTAH. Really, he hates it down in AZ and refuses to explore have fun or make friends. SHHH Don't tell him I wrote this. Michelle is always most generous as a host and she spoils and obsessed over Brayden. Brad and I get to have fun without babes and its nice to have some time together. The new van functioned great and we had a horrific but expected Black friday shopping night at Walmart. We got some DVDs and toys for Brayds... Not even worth the crowd surfing and the off site parking we endured.

Happy Thanksgiving in Provo

We are parents. And we love it.

Four years is around the corner.

I am being sentimental in November before all the craziness occurs for the Holidays but I wanted to talk a tribute to my most favorite person, Brad my husband. I was driving the other day in the sexy minivan and had this thought of how grateful I was for such a great man and that he works so hard to take care of us. Brad wakes up every morning at 3:45 am and drives almost an hour to work so he can stand all day and work with a few hooligans that flake often leaving him 2-3 peoples responsibilities. He walks in the door and is ALWAYS happy and nothing makes him more happy then to have the "boy" and "wife" home. Heavenly Father has always blessed my life with allowing situations and people to come in where I can be taken care of. I have always been faithful and behaved and in return have been blessed with no needing anything. Brad is a perfect match for me. He is chill and passionate, he has a huge heart and is so kind. He is always willing to help me and takes great care of his home and family.

Adoption Academy 2011

Every year that we would like to be considered to adopt we are required to attend a day of classes sponsored by LDS Family Services. This year was started off with a family Carnival at the ASU Institute bldg. We had a really great friend watch our little man from 7- 7 pm at night. Megan is a life Saver! We are officially ready to adopt our second little baby.
A darling story of my hubs Brad... We fed the missionaries a few weeks back and I had spent the whole day making our amazing carmel apples that are a tradition for Halloween. I left the lights on and the dogs in the house knowing that I would be 10 minutes max. Brad after taking the elders to Walmart come home to a empty house with dogs. He tried to call my phone and didn't get an answer. Brayden OBSESSES over my phone. B turned it off and Brad thought the worst. After getting home I called brad to see where he had gone. He was stressed and all bent out of shape because I wasn't around. He had jumped in the car and sped off to the hospitals ER to see if we were there. I am so lucky to have such a paranoid husband who loves us. He was relieved when we were home to say the least!
