Forts with the Brabster.

I donated a pile of old blankets that smelled old and musty. I know forts are better built and created by Dad and son but I couldn't resist this sweet tent fort. Brayden had a blast in it and now tries to lift and dissemble rather than play in it! He saw dad and mom put it together and now want to figure out the mechanics of it all. Love our smart boy!

Easter Weekend

Is there anything better then two boys dressed in their Easter best?! We had such a great trip up to Utah for such a short trip. Brayden was AMAZING on the road for such a long drive. He had a couple rough nights sleeping at Mims house but she took care of him then. WHeww! The easter bunny came and it was so great to have my whole family- minus the Bowles up in Utah this year. The Killian Clan visited SLC, had dinner a couple times and had a fun game night at the hotel. Grandma Mims was in 7th heaven, she spoils B and loves him raw all day! On our egg hunt day it snowed 3 inches and Utah was in a few hours a beautiful snowy white. Since summer in here in AZ i barely packed enough warm clothes to keep us alive. Its so hard for me to comprehend that it is beautiful and cool in other surrounding states! My Summer clothes are out and winter is not coming back. On a high note, we have no more puppies. They have been sold and life can return back to normal. Never again!

120 pounds of Chicken

Mom and I spent the day cannning dozens of jars fo raw chicken for the year supply. It was amazing chicken and we had a ton of fun. Really it is so simple, the worst thing is waiting the 90 minutes for it to cook. Lucky for us we have 5 canners between Mom, Ray and I. I can't wait to use it in my meals. It is high quality yumminess that is very convenient.

Ruby Rae is coming June 27th, 2012

This summer Myllyssa is going to have a little girl and she has committed to placing her in our family and home. She thought that having a older sibling the same race would be helpful for her little gal. Brad and I are thrilled to death. Last Friday a week after we got a call from her we met at the Fire station park and had a 2 hour play date with Lyssa and her little guy Kai. I told her she makes the most beautiful babies and we were so excited. We chatted about what we wanted from each other. Im telling you that if this was a missionary experience She would be known as a golden birth mom!. We are proud of Lyssa and her strength, she is going back to church and is being a responsible adult.
I am going to be honest I have already gone a bit nuts. Friends have helped us by giving us handdown girls clothes and I have already started making bows and getting the room set up. PLEASE do know that these situations have ways of not working out. I do realize this and I am 100 % committed until those papers are signed. But when Lyssa commits to breast feeding for weeks after she is born I am all but amazed! As of right now we are thinking Ruby Rae Olsen for our little gal. The family is on board and we are so excited.
